The winter solstice is one of the holiest sun celebrations and takes place on December 21st.
It marks the deepest night of the year – that’s why it is also called MOTHER’S NIGHT.
That night the light will be born again. The darkness is banished, the nights are growing
shorter and what seemed dead and lost will awaken again.
MOTHER’S NIGHT is a performance with sound and calligraphy. The staging
thematizes the resurgence of light as personal growth. The mystical writing
Sound collage is about new beginnings and the courage to actively shape the future.
Let us celebrate the rebirth of light together and carry it out into the world.
